This is a fun challenge that has the added benefit of putting the dictionary into frequent circulation.

First, your child flips the dictionary open to any page, selects a word of her choice, and, without saying the word, reads the definition out loud.

You (or another player) must try to guess the mystery word described after hearing the definition.

Once it is done, take a turn and you (or another player) open another page and selects a word and reads the definition and ask your child guess what the word is.

This will improve your child’s vocabulary big time and helps her learn new words and memorise those words while playing this game. Hope you and your child have fun with game.
